    One thing I have learned since playing with Linux, The one reason why virus's get into a Widnows box, Everyone is looged in as root by default,So a Virus can write changes to the files
    And Yes Windows is on 95% of desktops out there so a virus wirter will impact more people by writing a virus to work under Windows
    If you have an admin account and a user account on your Windows machine you have more security
    Log in as user to just enjoy your machine, Log in as admin to tweak your machine
    Thi is how a Linux box is set up
    I know many comercial Windows machined are set up this way
