    Exclamation Dos Printing Problems

Here is my problem. I have this computer that was infected with the W95.hybrid virus that had affected about 30 files. I either cleaned them or delted the files that could not be cleaned. My kernel32.dll file was one of the corrupted files. Norton claimed it had repaired the file, but I went ahead and replaced it from my windows disk anyway. Now when I go to print frm Ms-Dos based programs through windows 98 to my Laser Jet 1100 printer, I get illegal operations. I get the same type of error with all of my ms-dos based programs. Any ideas? I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software and drivers, but to no avail. Please help!!!!

I thought the Hybrid virus affected your network settings and internet connections?
    try checking them out.

if that's the virus that sometimes includes the Spiral virus then removing you tcp/ip/ dial up adapter and such then reinstalling it should help

What type of printing do you do? Local, IP, IPX?
