So what are you wanting to do now ? I can see you are probably all fired up once again to take on your tutors/college for 'pooh teaching' (for want of a better phrase & avoiding any expletives ) but no doubt that can't happen until after new year - but we were going to try & fix up at least one of your machines so you could practice (if only for 2 tweeks) some of the routine 'chores' in w2k3 server etc - I'm happy to bash on with that if you like, but maybe you still want to 'consider' ?
No I am not fired up yet but I am angry at the College. I did not mean I would do it, was just a matter of speech. I am not ready to face up to study or the exam at the moment and have decided to have a go at the College when they open and insist on my exam being put back as late as they can, then I will see if I can cope. I am half Irish and have a temper to go with it so College watch out next week - the chap managing the exam in our tutor's absence is half Irish too, should be a very interesting encounter

In the end I did not do the exam on 12th because I lost interest thanks to no support from the College, tutor away on a non work related course and no one else there until 10th. Test Prep Mentor had a Christmas break and I am always depressed at the so called Festive Season anyway so I just gave up. I emailed and emailed and eventually got a reply on 11th from another tutor who was going to Invigilate the exam, who agreed to postpone my exam and get the tutor to reschedule it when he is back.
We lose the first two weeks of term because of the tutor being away and there is no one else who is both free at our class time and competent to take the class and we go back on 24th and we are already working on the other Server 2003 exam which I think we do in February but unlike 70-290 we do have a classroom mock exam in our timetable.
I must admit I am fast losing interest in IT qualifications and wondering why I bother with a **** College like ours. At the end of the day it was hard anyway as the course was accelerated and we were left to do a lot of self study, wonder why we bothered to sign up for a course at all which was mostly being read out from the tutors book anyway.

Well ... probably somebody made it sound fantastic, by injecting lots of 'corporate speak' & this sadly is the reality of many 'courses' - merely a production line !
How did the reschedulig turn out - any delay 'helpful' ?, or any further developments on the 'complaining' front to report ?
