cookies not allowed

help! , IE4 SP2 cokkies allowed is selected but hotmail, yahoo mail keep telling me that cokkies are not allowed by my browser. They are turned on .... help

Try changing the security setting in the options.

Also try flushing out your 'Temporary internet' folder.

Then try deleting any cookies in the c:\windows\cookies folder. You'll have to confirm each one because Microsoft think that cookies are for life, not just for christmas.

If all of this fails try going for a walk and trying later, the server is probably down.

Alternatively, reinstall IE4 or (if you're feeling adventurous) download IE5.

done all that and it still doesnt work.... even with ie 5
