Spam private messages

It seems that spammers have not only invaded the sacred precincts of the Windrivers forums, but have now begun to spam people with private messages. If any mod or admin cares to look in my message inbox, they will see a fine example of the type. I shall leave it there for some days in case the culprit can be traced and admonished/banned/boiled in oil.

.. I get these quite often, generally though Noo's deleted them before I feel moved to moan further ...

'Spammers/advertisers in the works' seem to be an ever increasing problem ... in fact as I write despite already writing one reply to a bit of spurious advertising, I can see one at work right now !!!

Please let us know of any spam PM's you may recieve. You can PM Rich, Noo, ILTU, DonJ or myself the details as we all have the ability to bad the individuals.

Noo told me to just press the 'report post' button (what is now a little '!' in a red triangle) as she said that got mailed to all megamods & admins as well as the forum mod if applicable.

As I well know - pm boxes get all full up

I take it if what Noo told me still holds true (it was before the last forum s/w upgrade) - either is ok ?
