Norton Systemworks and Firewall and XP Pro SP2 at Amazon
I have just bought a terrific bargain bundle at Amazon UK ie Norton Systemworks 2005 (includes NAV 2005) for £28.99 bundled with FREE Norton Personal Firewall 2005

great buy maybe, but a HUGE resource hog in my opinion.

Agreed but security is of prime importance and anyway it is going on a very fast machine and then not all of it, only what I need.

System works is just too unstable
I wouldnt run it for any money
Router and windows firewall is more then enuff security unless you plan on surfing Dalnet and teasing them

Well I have opened the package and I have been using Norton for years. I thought I was doing people a favour by posting but I will mind my own business and will not be posting on this part of the Forum again.

No problem Ferrit and I know you meant well but I have been using Norton for years and have always found it good provided it's on a machine with adequate resources to cope with any overhead. I am still happy with my purchase

If you know Norton's foibles and are happy with it, it is the right product for you. Carry on posting any deals you find Morselady - there will always be those who despise a particular piece of kit or software - think Mint CreditCard adverts
