CDs eject 10 minutes after I press eject

This has always pissed me off but now that I missed a TV recording I want to do something about it.

When I press eject on my CDRW, it always ejects a few minutes after and I have (or do it anyway) to press eject 1000 times. I think this is related to Easy DVD creator.

How can I make the disc eject when I press eject and not 10 minutes later?

Well its allways possible so
uninstall adaptec simple enuff

I dont know what to say, except do what Ferrit says and try and use the drive when not booted into windows, say in the BIOS settings area. could be the button or drive is a bit off.

Its not a hardware problem because it only does it with CD-RWs (maybe cd-r also but i dont use those).

I need to use easy cd to be able to read the CDs from my digital camera otherwise I need to close the session each time I want to read it.
