    Question suspicious files anyone recognize?

Got some files that I question. No finds on google and no hits on scans but won't delete. Anyone recognize these? WW8402.exe, rj483f.exe, and the folder tdecntrl?

Do Online scans with Panda/TrendMicro, Spyware scans with Spybot/MS AntiSpyware/Adaware. If they dont come up with anything, try HiJackThis.

yep..techz is absolutely right..you have a trojan..possibly a bloodhound exploit..the first two things you listed are random letter/number combo's typical of that bug. The last one shows up a lot in machines infected with the bloodhound trojan, but you need a full scan to fix everything.

also if none of the above mentioned apps have pickd it up yet, then it must be messing with your Registry, and then it gets messy.

Roger that. That is exactly what the situation was and the registry was the target. Wel was time to upgrade the memory and clean house anyway. Interesting that the on line scans gave it a pass. I had more faith in them than I now do. I think I could have got it without the nuke but a "human error" took away that option. Each even is truly a learning experience. Thanks guys.
