No Sound out of optical
I just upgraded my system to a Athlon 64 3500+ with a MSI K8N Neo2 platinum mobo.
It has the new reltek ac97 ALC850 codec. I can get sound thru the analog inputs but I get nothing thru the optical outlet.It is a nforce3 chipset so I tried nvidia audio drivers and the system did not recognize them.
Any help would be appreciated..thanks.
