"First page out, yes. After that, even most of the lower end lasers smoke inkjets."

Im not talking FPO, how can you possibly say that a 4ppm laserjet is faster than a 23ppm inkjet? The inkjet puts out one full color page every <3 seconds (I know, my current inkjet is the same as the one in the officejet) while the laserjet takes 15 seconds per page on it's fastest setting at 4ppm.

Explain how the laserjet is faster by taking 5-6 times longer to print every page?

I fulyl agree that some inkjets arent as good as lasers for photos, just like the business inkjet I have, the print quality is horrible for photos, but I'm not using it for photos. My photo inkjet's quality simply can't be beat.

"(6 times faster, 8 times the quality, and 12 times cheaper ??)"

Not sure what the point of that line was?

"OK, you've made your decision, so no need to continue this thread any further. Like I've said before; if you're satisfied with inkjet quality, then that's all that matters."

I'm very happy with my decision, perhaps when/if my sales increase enough I will get a laser to have water print proofs... uh water proof prints, but I still think the toner cost is way too expensive, not to mention around $500 to cahnge the cartridges, even if they make 4000 pages (I can get as many prints with less than $50 in refills).

I simply can't afford a laser now, well I could the lower end ones, but the quality is really garbage from those and they cost even more in toner. Maybe when I can afford the $2000+ ones and afford $500 cartridges I will, but not for now.
