so the web page is done.....
for the photography business my wife is wanting to get going
www.storybook-photo.com
but now I need to get it registered and ranked on search engines and I don't even pretend to know what I am doing. just creating the page was difficult enough - and I cheated and used xara webstyle for the nav bars and stuff.
so mayet or anyone else with experience, how do I register the site and get it showing up with google searches and such.

Looks pretty good! Register your domain name, find a host, upload your site to their server and then go to the various search engines and register your site with them. Don't forget the local varieations of "Super Yellow Pages"

domain name is registered and hosted as you can see by the .com address. I just figured there were probably tricks to the whole search engine registration process....so if there are lets hear them people.
