Exchange Restoration
I run a server that has MS Windows 2000 sever & MS Exchange server 2000 with mirrored drives. My windows Install, the registry to be exact became corrupt and I had to reinstall everything. I am trying to retrieve my old mail but I am at a loss. I have recovered the "Public" folders. My own folders, as well as my address book or contacts, are not showing up when I log into the exchange server with MS Outlook client.
Thanks in advance,,, Phil

Hi,
can you see the Mailbox under exchange?
Under exchange -> Servers -> Private Store -> look for your Mailbox.
If it is here it is maybe only credentials that prevent you from logging into your mailbox.
BTW if you are looking for a good Mailbox recovery application - This is my pick

Restoring an Exchange Database.....
Needless to say, I have done this quite a few times...... All of the instances have to be EXACT, the server name, the administrative group, the storage group. Those settings have to all be the same names as the previous server in order to get the store to mount. Your other option is (if you enabled the transaction logs) is rebuilding the database from the transaction logs. Here are some links....
