Slow machine! Had the same problem with a DX2 66. 16Megs of RAM is not really enough for WIN95 + if your 250Mb H/D is pretty full then there`s not enough space for virtual memory. If this happens, then things can really slow down. Perhaps your friend has more space on H/D and/or more RAM.
Cheers.

Conner hd is very slow. Is defragmented?
Check what hd has your friend.

Most likely your friends computer is a 486DX50 and not a DX2-50 so it is running 50MHz in native mode not 33 double clock so it would be naturally faster. Either is kind of slow for win95. I wouldnt recommend running it on anything slower than a 486dx4-100.

i also have a 486dx-66mhz,that runs pretty
fast,but i only use Win95,because Dos 6.22
is a large file, and Win 95 is also large.
Having both programs is hard on the processor
and a small Hard drive.
Good luck.
