    please help sound card/xp problems

    I cannot figure out what is wrong with my sound card for xp2, everything says working properly, no conflicts, i think all neccessarry drivers downloaded for everything and it wont pick it up.

    OS: Windows XP professional with Sp2
    DirectX: 9.0
    Motherboard:
    CPU Type: AMD Athlon-PECM, 700 MHz (7 x 100)
    Motherboard Name: Shuttle AI61 (5 PCI, 1AGP, 3DImm)
    Motherboard Chipset: AMD-750 Irongate
    Bios Type: Award Modular
    Motherboard ID: 01/04/2002-AMD-75X-W977-6A6S2H29C-00
