SiS USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller Driver on Win98SE
Hi All,
I have an old PII 350 MHz 64 MB SDRAM machine with Win98SE as OS.
Motherboard : SiS 5598/5600 Chipset
HD Controller : SiS 5513 Dual PCI IDE Controller
USB Controllers : SiS 7001 PCI to USB Open Host Controller
USB Root Hub
I have a IOMEGA Mini 128MB Pen Drive (Product Id IOM2D5) which I am not able to use on my old machine using the USB port.
For past 2 weeks I am trying to install SiS USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller using various drivers/patches available from Internet without any success. All those drivers refuse to get installed and my usb port is not recognized.
Can anybody guide me to the correct installable driver?? Please help.

Try to locate the manufacturer/model# from your machine using sisoft sandra, then get the correct one from it's website, also run all windows updates and let us know how you make out.....G

Probability factor of one to one...we have normality, I repeat we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem.
