Complete uninstall of the sfotware.
Disconnect the printer from the PC.
Boot into safe mode.
Delete all parallel ports, and any printers that still might be in the device manager.
Get rid of it also in registry (if you know how to do that).
Boot into normal mode, let the PC reconize the parallel ports.
Reboot.
Connect the printer, and reinstall the newest drivers for it.
If that doesn't work, try a similar model drivers.
(I.e. if its a 722, try 720, if its an 832, try 812...)
