I got a 6 button pad and no driver
Ok i have this "Laing #1 PC Gamers pad" for a few years now. What i need is the drivers for it casue i have to run it as a 4 button game pad. and it makes me mad cause i know i got 2 more buttons and no way to use them. If any one knows of drivers for this product or even a 6 button game pad driver that i could use. plz help

Sorry, I think you're out of luck. With a standard gameport you're limited to only 4 buttons. This is a limitation of old gameport technology that cannot be overcome.
Usually on cheap gamepads that plug into the gameport (like what you've got) they give you a whack of buttons and you think it's really cool. You get it home and find out the extra buttons either don't do anything or are auto-fire buttons for the other four buttons that actually work.
Gamepads like the Gravis Gamepad Pro (using the Gravis GRiP protocol) use a keyboard port pass-thru to emulate more buttons. I have tried this, and trust me, it sucks.
I my book, nothing beats a Gravis Gamepad (the same one they have been making for the last 6 years) with 4 buttons and a Dpad.
If you want some serious gaming action and have Win98 or better, get a USB gamepad/controller with as many buttons as you want, and you will be able to use them all. But be warned, they won't work in DOS.
