Sound Card Issue
I have a 1999 Model eMachine with Windows 98SE. I have sound as long as I am off line. As soon as I dial-up, the sound disappears. Can anyone help me with this problem. I am not a computer guru, just a little old lady in Texas who would like some help solving this problem. My sound card is a Crystal Fusion Sound card with no numbers.

Intel Mod
Welcome to WinDrivers, trallo43.
The first thing I would wonder is if there is a resource conflict between your sound card and your modem. Are you familiar with the Windows Device Manager to tell us if the settings shown in the Resources tab in the Properties for the two devices indicate they both want the same Interrupt or Input/Output address?
