Did you get yourself a PSP?
Hi there,
Curious, today is March 24, the official release of Sony PSP? Did you get it? What do you think of it?

I'm not into those sorts of things... as far as I'm concerned it'd be a waste of money until there are more games for it...

As far as I'm concerned you could have stopped at "waste of money". I do not own, never have owned, and probably will never own a portable gaming unit of any type.

I have always had some sort of a GB. But the new one came out too quickly and just got expensive. Only ever had a PS as a console, simply for the few games i liked on it. Other than that its PC GAMES all the way!!!

Overpriced toy to me I'm afraid.

Funny thing is,.. there are already more games out for it than for Nintendo DS and PSP just came out a couple days ago. Sucks to be Nintendo. Personally, I think all portable gaming units suck,... but right now, it's looking grim for Nintendo as PSP seems to be the popular choice.

Well don't get me wrong I like some of the games, but I'd wait until there are a LOT more games... by then the price will be down and I'll have a good selection... nintendo dropped the ball years ago... their own fault... they'll be the way of the atari

You tend to forget all too quickly that its the quality of the games, not the quantity. Who cares if it has 4,000 games if they all suck? Also take into account that the PSP is $100 more, doesnt have the touch screen (makes games hella fun) and doesnt have anywhere near the battery life of the DS.
I'll take my few QUALITY nintendo games over sonys overpriced CRAP any day

I dunno, I think it's a tad overrated. I plan to build a new PC before I even think about the PSP.

I got my PSP a week or 2 after release and I'm highly disappointed in the lack of new games coming out for it.
