    Sound Recorder

I haven't used the utility sndrec32 that comes with XP before, now I found it useful, you have the option of recording CD quality. The problem I have is that the default recording time is 60 seconds. Is there a way to increase it?

You could try this inelegant kludge.
Or you could use a much more versatile piece of free software called Audacity
