hp pavilion ze5300 notebook keyboard
Hi guys need help again,
I got this Hp pavilion ze5300 notebook whose keyboard mapping seems screwed p. Every key on the pad displays a itself and another when pressed once. example i press the S key and get SX, press G and you get GB, press L and get L.. what is this problem and how can i fix it. I've tried to vacuum and dust the keyboard with compressed air.
No Luck.
please help!!

Sounds to me like possibly a bad keyboard or trace.
Does an external keyboard work ok?

yes an external keyboard works good!! Must be the keyboard acting up no so?
Plus where can i get a cheap replacement quick? i am in the brooklyn area.

i just replaced the keyboard but in the keyboard properties in control panel i cannot test the repeat rate cos the keys are not repeating.
what shold i do?

So keys will not repeat anywhere ??
