    Broken shortcuts in Win98.

    All the shortcuts show as an icon Windows uses for unknown. The properties are correct but clicking them does nothing. I can't repair this using tweakui. Anyone know what might be broken?

    try looking for a file called ShellIconCache..see if deleting that file and rebooting solves the problem..I assume you have done all the appropriate spyware/adware/virus scans and the system file check?
