Go to start and then run
then type sfc /scannow and pop your windows cd in the cdrom drawer. See if it replaces it
The sfc or system file checker replaces system files that have been lost or damaged.

hi jtugwell
i have solved that problem before
at first i tried what MAYET kindly suggests to no avail
what i had to do was copy the rundll32.x file from another pc running the same version of windows, i used a USB pen drive and copied the file from c:/windows/system32 then i just copied it from the pen drive to the pc with the rundll32.exe file missing c:/windows/system32 this does work good luck

"Hello, my problem is I some how lost or deleted my rundll32.exe file"
