Duel wallpapers
I am running 2 monitors on my main machine, and would love to have a different wallpaper image on each - is there any way that this can be achieved?
Cheers

You could create a double-size background image, the left half of which is one wallpaper, and the right half of which is the other. That should work.

I've tried that - it appears that the monitors 'clone' the wallpaper chosen. If only there was a way to asign a separate image via the settings !!!
Maybe there's an app out there that would do it....

It ought to be set within the video drivers...

Like it was posted above, multi monitor setups use the SAME background image on all displays. Unless there is a 3rd Party piece of software (or registry hack) then unfortunatly you cannot.

Here is how you do it: http://www.realtimesoft.com/multimon...sktopWallpaper
Looks like a very good site overall for multi-monitor setups!

Actually, I use a different method...
I made one large 2048 x 768 image and then set that as my background.
I then selected "tile" instead of stretch or center.
It puts one image on each monitor.

Geezer
Nah! this is down to how your vendor implements multi-monitor support. My dual display cards all work, but multiple cards don't unless you fiddle.

I have two cards in my system, an ATI Radeon All-in-Wonder AGP and an ATI Expert 128 PCI. I downloaded and installed the UltraMon app from the link MacGuyver posted (THANKS), had some initial problems that were very quickly resolved through emails and then went back and paid my $24.95 registration fee at the site. This app ROCKS!
