Shuttle Discovery
The shuttles have been grounded for 2 years due to the Columbia disaster and now we currently have one of the Discovery's crew members doing EVA's attempting to jerryrig repairs to the shuttle for the same/similar defects.
What in the heck is wrong with those nimrods at NASA? What have they been doing for the past 2 years at a cost of countless millions (billions?) of dollars.
Now, I'm totally gung ho space travel and space exploration, but this is just nuts. NASA's shuttle fleet should be mothballed and work started on the next generation of spacecraft. Actually, this should have started years ago. Gort, where are you when we need you.

Intel Mod
Watched the Shuttle/Space Station go overhead an hour and a half ago. Just after dusk - it was the brightest thing in the sky as it passed Venus.
