bought a new comp. can't intall Windows Xp
I bought the following computer today:
AMD Athlon 64 3000 Venice Socket 939
Gigaybyte GA-K8NF-9 nForce4 Socket 939
Western Digital 80GB 7200 rpm 8MB Buffer Serial ATA
Twinmos 512MB DDR 3200 Memory
Gainward GeForce 6600 Ultra 256MB
Compucase-HEC Midi Tower CI-6A19
I assembled it myself.
I inserted the WinXP x64 setup disk. everything worked fine until the pc restarted and when the WIN XP logo was suppose to load the pc booted again from the cd.
what i did wrong?

You might try removing that CD so that the PC will boot from the hard disk.
Just a suggestion...

Or set the bios to boot from the correct HD
