Phee...eww!
After a few late nights, slept in 'til after 10:00 this morning...
And discovered some blasted tomcat had sprayed the back door! Adjacent rooms, (laundry, toilet & bathroom) stank!
Anyway, I used to sell some cleaning products, so I found deodorising drops & treated the area, after a few hours now it's much improved...

Ah yes, thanks!
The cat didn't need to get inside, just spray the door and doorstep - the smell just wafted inside. I wasn't awake to notice & do anything about it until after 10:00 ...

Hey if You can't get rid of the smell go to a pet store and there you will find products that will neutrilize the peeeeee not that expensive and they work well. Used to be a store manager for Pet Food Plus in Ontario years ago. The smell will linger for a long time. Good luck! congrads also on 3000 posts.

Thanks, and a good thought for the "pet smell..."
The deodorising drops I have work similarly, I just had to find where they were. The formula was developed by a company in Adelaide, South Australia, for the live animal shipping industry, where huge ships taking livestock to the Middle East became very smelly.

ugggh cat smells... I remember when videos first came out, people put them on the floor. Cat curled up on them and then peed on them. Nasty and smelly. We literally washed the boards and components in washing up liquid and then left them to dry for 3 weeks.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

So you were! Didn't make the connection. But perhaps that could be due to late night posting rather than any acquired confusedness...
