    Connecting LCD to other input

I have a Toshiba 2505CDS laptop that I bought about 7 or 8 years ago and I'd like to try to figure out how to use the LCD monitor as a monitor for another computer of mine. I want to use the one from the laptop becuase it's small and thin but I'm not too savvy on connecting power and such using the wires on the inside of the computer. If anyone knows how I might be able to do this, please let me know. thanks!

Can't say that I've ever seen this done, but I think there's a good chance you will end up shorting something out and possibly ruining the LCD and other possible hardware as well.

Is the laptop not working anymore ??
