Creating msi packages

I want to create custom msi packages to roll out various applications to client workstrations automatically.

It would appear the MS don't provide an msi creation utility; I searched Google and came up with a lot of third-party products that will do this however.

Anyone already doing this and if so what third-party product are you using to create the packages?

I found a couple freebies that make setup packages - do all the registry entries etc...

This is provided at no charge by OnDemand by arrangement with Microsoft. I use it exclusively for packaging software to push via MSI and have only found a couple programs it can't compile correctly. It works fine on Windows 2000, XP and 2003, I haven't tested it on other platforms.
