DVD Drive won't play music CD's
Hello to all,
I have just installed a Dynex DVD Rom drive (DX-DVD101441) into my top port as the master drive. It plays DVD movies fine as well as CD Rom Video Games. When I put a music CD in, it skips some songs, mostly the first few songs, and it plays others. The computer recognizes the CD as a music CD. It also doesn't matter what Media Player I try to use, it has the problem with all the different players I have installed. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance,
Ron

Hi Ron, if I'm not mistaken you got a working solution to you query in Chat, which was to uncheck the "Enable Digital Audio for this cd-rom device" box under the Drive properties.
If you still have any problems, please feel free to ask

It may just be the cds you tried were dirty and/or scratched.
