firmware needed
i have a speedstream 6300 adsl &gateway modem, wireless,my isp put his own firmware on it and i would like to put it back to the efficient firmware, some thinks are turned off like the firewall because they want us to use the one from the isp, beside the gui they put on it is real awkward to setup,so if anyone could lead me the original software and the way to flash it i would sure appreciate

I believe speedstream modems are designed to be customized by individual ISP's, so switching to a different firmware could cause problems if not total inability to connect with your ISP. Also, it may be in violation of your ISP's TOS to attempt to alter the equipment if you don't physically own it outright.

Hi Clauded,
Did you manage to find that firmware? I have the same device and I would like to acquire the original firmware for it.

here is the support page for speedstream products but I think you are out of luck - perhaps an email to siemens would get you some more information.

3Finger is right. Speedstream often ships with firmware customized for a specific ISP. So you're pretty much stuck with what your ISP chooses to provide. Is there some specific problem you are having with the modem sebass_tek?
