VIA Bus Master IDE Controller

I recently ran a driver check on my pc to see if everything was up to date. Well, to say I was surprised is an understatement!! My computer needs driver updates for the following devices:

1)USB controllers
VIA Rev5 Host controller
Vinyl AC'97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM)

2) Network adapters
VIA USB Enhanced controller

3)Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

What I am hoping to achieve with this posting is someone to tell me where I can these drivers AT NO COST, if at all possible. Please email me with your suggestions.

What kind of driver check did you do that identified a "need" for all those driver updates?

The first line of approach for driver updates is the support website for your system, motherboard and/or video card manufacturer. If you have difficulty identifying the components in your system, the freeware Everest Home system analysis program can give a comprehensive report.

If you are unsure of sourcing the correct drivers using the information Everest gives you, post its report here and we can offer assistance.

I suggest you avoid posting your email address, as email harvesting bots scour websites looking for addresses to add to spamming databases.

Via controller drivers can be found at
www.viaarena.com
But do as Platypus suggested and use Everest first
to be absolutely sure thats what you need.
Loading incorrect drivers is a recipe for disaster
