Can't update Spybot SD
Recently downloaded and installed Spybot 1.4 to replace my 1.3 version which would never update.
Now I'm getting the same "bad checksum" error everytime I try to update this one.
Any ideas?

Couple things.
Go to spybot and retrieve the manual update and do that
Another is that 1.3 gets corrupted somehow and when you remove it to install the new 1.4.
You need to also go to the C drive and manually remove the directory completely before you install the new one

Indeed!
This has been a problem lately even on fresh installs where SB has never been installed, and with either 1.3 and 1.4. Either try a different download location or, as Ferrit says, manually download it.
I wonder if they are aware of this issue?

This bad checksum error has been happpenning alot more frequently off late, I only do manual updates now, as it takes between 10 & 20 tries to get the updates properly.

Yeh should have done that in the first place, wanted to see if there was a fix to the "bad checksum" which is starting to occur on more machines I test now.
