Custom Screen Saver
I need to make a screen saver on a Windows 2000 PC that is my company's logo. What I envision is similar to the Windows screens saver where the Microsoft logo jumps around a black screen - except it would be our logo.
Anybody know a simple way to do this? I was hoping I could just rename our logo graphic the name of the graphic the Windows screen saver displays, but I don't know the name of that file. Could it be that simple?
Any other thoughts?

Here's a link to a little program called resource hacker. http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/
You can open c:\winnt\system32\logon.scr with it and it will let you change the bitmap image that it uses.
I would suggest testing this on a non critical machine first.
Oh yeah, here's your warning, be careful what you change with reshack!

OK - thanks for the program reference. However, I use the program to change the bitmap, and it automatically saves a backup called logon_original.scr. Now, when I go into the screen saver selection area, the only option I have in the list is "logon_original."
Plus, no matter what I seem to do, the logon.scr file is always overwritten with the original file. The file size and date stamps are always being re-set back to the original. Is this coming from the I386 directory on the HD? Can anyone explain?
Thanks again.

Okay, here's what you do. Reboot into safe mode, go to the c:\windows\system32 directory, sort by type so all the .scr's are together. Delete the logon.scr, and rename your modified screen saver to logon.scr. Also, delete any other .scr that windows made to replace the origina (i.e. logon_original.scr or whatever). Reboot into regular windows and it should work.
