    hmm I'm guessing windows 95 doesn't see your cdrom? Or are you trying to install 95?

    either way look here Seems gateway has a fix for 95 not seeing the cdrom and the drivers. 6x is a speed and if you have the 8x it is likely the drivers are exactly the same.

    If you explain exactly what your problem is I can find you some more useful info.
