I have two PC's on a network that their text melts /shrivles up and become unreadable.I have to reboot the PC to be able to read any text on icons etc.I have done a virus scan but still have this problem does anyone know why?

ok, its possible that the problem resides in either your video card, or drivers there for, is this an ongoing problem, please give more details on your system specs and your OS, as there maybe an incompatibility somewhere down the line, is it a new system or an old one?

also, try disabling font smoothing in the display properties,
