    Aims Lab Video Highway VTR500

    Hi everyone

    Anyone know were i can pickup XP drivers for this card. User had windows 98. Purchased a new machine & came wth xp. Wants to install this card. Please help

    Aims labs went bust I think in '99 (or that's what google is telling me). Google also found me this too VTR500_109c.ZIP (but there's no o/s mentioned so it might be a 98 driver or whatever).

    If that link isn't helpful, I'll say as its an old TV capture card there's only so many chipsets for those & you may be be able to find drivers for other cards that'll work for this one, if the above is no good, something like everest home will be helpful with that to identify the chipset on the tv card.

    yes i heard about them gone down & recommend getting a new card but client insists on getting it loaded. I'll give everest home & the other drivers a try & see.

    This file won't work, seems to be a windows 95 driver according to the site on which its situated. Will give the other site a try

    Sometimes you have to move on. Don't know what their attachment is to dead hardware, but you should explain to them that... see first sentence. Insisting won't make unsupported equipment function. Stand your ground. Who's the expert here?

    Exactly, finally got him to change his mind, wants to re-install it in his old machine.
