    Good call Emr

(He says having fired up his copy of beta one & notes that the Auto-update feature in that doesn't tell you there's a newer version)

    Downloading it now

The auto update on mine was what told me this morning; however I've noticed with previous updates that it seems to take it's own sweet time about deciding when it tells you about them.

So I'm just reading the EULA & they seem to have a new term for what I've calling 'malware' for a long time, & for once I like Microsoft's version better still...

POTENTIALLY UNWANTED SOFTWARE . The software will search your computer for "spware", "adware" and other potentially unwanted software ...
Potentially Unwanted Software == PUS like as in pus . Most appropriate !

Since the above makes me sound as if I finally fully approve of something M$ have done, & we couldn't possibly have that happening ! I'd just like to observe that the beta, identifies itself & the genuine windows validation tool as potential threats ! if you go lurking in the extra tools bit - ahhh the irony !
