Lg-gsa 4163b... Dead?
Hi! I have moved everything from my system into a new case all went well but my LG drive no longer ejects or functions.
If I eject it using a paper clip it coes out but dson't go in the lught on it keepis on flashing when trying to eject it.
I have updated it's firmware just now but no luck so does thi mean it is dead?

Geezer
Try taking your machine to bits again vakas .. & then with just power plugged to the cd/dvd (no ide or sata cables attached), try to use the eject button - if it won't 'go' then - well I'd be pretty sure its 'busted' as the eject feature is hard wired & nothing to do with any o/s or bios or even firmware whatsover - it only needs power ..
