World's fastest inkjet printer
I just got the HP Officejet Pro K550, the fastest inkjet today at an incredible 37 pages per minute and 33 in color, 12 pages per minute in laser quality mode (twice the speed of a $500 color laser), and 30% lower ink cost than laser.
HP Officejet K550
I'll also connect this directly to 1 liter bottles of ink so I can do 30-50k prints between bottle changes as I did wih my all in one.

Geezer
For anybody who just randomly presses Clickhere's link - its 5.11mb mpg with sound..
Go on then, you've had it a whole day .. & for you that probably means you busted the monthly duty cycle already ! So what do you think so far ..?
My googling says these are CHEAP for what you are apparently getting - I got one place offering it for less £100 !! & even I, cynical old 'Ed, would say that's pretty damned good

Laptops/Notebooks/PDA Mod
not bad at all for an inkjet - based on that video you should get about 12-14ppm out of it which is quite nice for the price. Good find!

They are cheap for what you get, and the ink also ends up costing 30% less than a color laser (that's probably on laser quality mode, probably a lot cheaper on draft).
I was almost going to get the now discontinued Business inkjet 3000 with a 30k/month duty cycle, this one only has a 7.5K/month duty cycle but it's also less than 1/3rd the price, so even if I need to replace it 3 times in the time a single 3000 would last, it's still cheaper and much faster. This is also HP's first business model to finally be able to print the last half inch of the page (they added borderless printing to their home printers a few years ago, this new one isn't quite borderless, but the unrpitnable margin all around is only 3mm, older ones couldn't print the last half inch of the page, that was often a problem for me). I'll also be connecting it to 1 liter bottles of ink like on my all in one.
