What happens when you disable SpySweeper? Give it a shot. And, if that is the problem, perhaps you can just go to their site and d/l the update manually?

Sounds like you were sent a broken link in your e-mail,or you need to do a repair on internet explorer.I assume you have IE6 1

Or, is it completely blank?
If so, try this:

If not, perhaps you can reinstall SP2.

You can run symantic Ghost 10 and back up all your files.Before you run
sp2. .

I should think if its every email link then its in Outlook Express in the security Options
Open Outlook Express
At the top click tools
Then at the bottom of that menu is Options click that
Then at the top is a tab called Security.
Look in there see if there is something about email links not allowed

Somehow or someway you clicked something in security to stop URL's from showing
and I only mntioned 1 thing

when you start IE explorer and go to your home page under tools internet options,advanced,have you tried restore defaults?
