Exclamation A Blank Screen has me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello

Please could some one advise me on the following problem.

When I click on a link from a email Microsoft Internet Explorer opens a blank page.

Yes I can copy and paste the link into the address bar no problem.

But at the moment I keep getting a message that there is a updated version of Webroot Spy Sweeper, :butt: but when I click Yes all I get is a Blank page.

    This has me really baffled.

    Can anybody out there help.

I thank you for your time.

    Terry.

What happens when you disable SpySweeper? Give it a shot. And, if that is the problem, perhaps you can just go to their site and d/l the update manually?

I have done that as you have and still end up with a blank page.

Know where that link for the Spy Sweeper web site I missed placed again.

    Regards.

Does the blank page say: http:/1.0 404 Object Not Found ?
    Or, is it completely blank?
    If so, try this:
    http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=k...578&sid=global

If not, perhaps you can reinstall SP2.

The screen always opens Blank non off the aforementioned items that you mentioned.

I shall reinstall sp2 but will that not overwrite all the current software that I have installed.

I should think if its every email link then its in Outlook Express in the security Options
    Open Outlook Express
    At the top click tools
Then at the bottom of that menu is Options click that
Then at the top is a tab called Security.
Look in there see if there is something about email links not allowed
