Installing a New Graphic Card
Help Please!
I have bought a new PC and want to upgrade to a more powerful graphic card. Can someone lead me through the process of doing this please?
The card I want to install is a Radeon 9200 Atlantis.
The PC runs on Windows XP Pro.
Sorry but I'm not that techy minded so any simple instructions would be gratefully appreciated.
Many thx...in anticipation.

It is a seperate card.
Does this make it more difficult?

Nope merely look in add remove programs for any files associated with the graphics driver such as ATI or Nvidia and remove them.
Power the computer down, remove the power cord, take the side cover off.
Remove the old video card and replace with the new one and power up the system.
It will say found new hardware and put in the cd that came with the video card and it should do the rest
Provided this is XP
