Not sure what the differnece is between the 940B and the 940BF, but here's a ton of places with the 940B, maybe you can check with them for the BF ?

I am not sure, I have seen all differnt ones, the 930BF, 960BF, 940B, 940T, but no 940BF. The reviews I have been reading are really saying this is a fantastic monitor and they all are saying 940BF. A search of 940BF on google only displays reviews and product release announcements. It supposed to be around the $370 street price range.
Oh where, Oh where could the 940BF be...........

You're right, it appears to be hard to find. I found it at one place (but I am by no means familiar with or reccomending this site).
Samsung has a dealer locator for the product, but it appears to be busticated at the moment

wierd, that place i linked above refers to it as both a 940B and a 940BF in the same product description.
Honestly dude, I think I'd try to contact Samsung to get this cleared up.

If you can live with white, Best Buy stocks them at most stores and online at $479.

Maximum PC had a decent write up on it and so did reviewseeker.com.

The white one at Best Buy is the 960bf.
The 940bf is supposed to be around $370.

Absolutely right but I think that's as close as you'll get. You can also get the 930BF online at Newegg and other stores, but there is no 940 BF in U.S. at present. Check Samsung's web site. 930 and 960 straddle 940 specs. The 930 is still around $370.
