    FireWire Problem

    I have a Sony DCR-HC18E.I plug the FireWire cable in my Laptop and it doesn't recognizes my Camera.My Firewire port works ok.It recognizes other cameras, but not mine.And also my camera connects perfectly on other laptops.They told me I might need Drivers.
    Can you help me out?
    Do you know where I can find drivers?

    You sure about that model # ?? I don't even see it listed on Sony's driver page at all.

    Yes, I am sure about the model.The DCR-HC18 is concluded in the DCR-HC1000models.
