Anyone got the driver disc?
OK, OK so the great NooNoo can't find a driver
I was given one of these for Christmas and I want a driver for 98 - it works fine on XP/2k.
The other thing is, what advantage is there using a usb 2.0 port? It should work faster - right?

USB2.0 should be faster sure. Although I'm trying to figure out what exactly that thing is NooNoo? :P
Some kind of thumbprint scanner?

Tsk, tsk. Given the bandwidth of the device, I don't think you'll get any boost in throughput with USB 2.0 versus USB 1.1.
However, USB 2.0 ports offer much higher power than USB 1.x ports do, which is why some devices require 2.0 to work correctly. Your device probably will just overload and shut down any USB 1.x port you plug it into. You might want to try a powered USB hub instead of a direct USB 1.x connection if USB 1.x is all you have.
And no, I can't find any Win9x drivers for it. I'd suspect the problem isn't drivers, it's low-power 1.x ports versus high-power 2.0 ports.

I got tired of googling at this point on Noo's Christmas challenge, but I don't think any drivers will be required, they generally aren't, you just need a usb port that can kick out enough power, so points to Mr Harper methinks
