Spyware help pls
Hi
I run Spyboy and Adaware daily but everytime I run Spybot these pieces of Spyware appear, I clear them but if I run them an hour later they return again.

I also have problem with google, it seems when I put in a url to goto a site with no spaces instead of going to the site it takes me to an adult affiliate site, as I say I use Spyware progs daily and have no idea about it.
Any ideas? Thnx

NooNoo has written an excellent guide on this Spyware Fix Guide.
Read it thoroughly and follow the steps.
Remember to update Spybot/Adaware and give this a go as well --> http://www.sunbelt-software.com/CounterSpy.cfm Its a trial but its enough to get your PC cleaned.

Ok, I did all that ran the progs etc and still I get loads of Spyware, I also still have that Google prob too =\
It happens in both FF and IE, BTW, seems to be the registry being altered.

If you note each name of the spyware from the HijackThis log, you can find specific cleaners for them, also I hope you ran those programs in safe mode with System Restore OFF?
At some point you also need to see if its worth the time to clean rather than Format the pc and start over

Or you can spend the money and buy a program like Ewido or Counterspy and have it run in the background. It can also run each night and keep everything clean.
I happen to run counterspy in that mode and i rarely have any spyware
