comp won't boot as lack of mup.sys driver
hi my computer will not boot and when starting it gets as far as windows\system32\drivers\mup.sys
and stops, i presume it cannot find it. your help is greatly appreciated thanks

Have you tried safemode?
Have you tried booting to the XP cd and then choose Repair consul and do a chkdsk /r?
