Digital Image Editor bug?

I'm trying to use Rotate->Selected Object on the Format menu. I select a rectangle with the marquee tool then use this and it goes to a canvas rotation page. It should be a page for rotating the selection.

I see what is happening now. I was using the selected object which happened to be the canvas. 'Straighten picture' is closer to what I want anyway. Its easier to do that than with PSP.

The software is newly out from Microsoft.
