A lot of celebrity deaths this weekend, huh?
Don knotts, Darren McGavin and Dennis Weaver all died over the weekend.

I used to love Barney Fife, as a kid I remember watching his movies with Tim Conway as well as Three's Company.

Don Knotts, best known as Barney Fife from "The Andy Griffith Show", died at 81 of lung Cancer.

I'd rather remember Don Knotts as Barney Fife, than "Furley". Man, I still love watching the Andy Griffith show. Darrin McGaven was a hoot in the "Christmas Story"...

For me, Darren McGavin's greatest gift to the world was Kolchak, the Night Stalker! Without a doubt one the best things ever to be aired on TV.

Carter's recent attempt to revive the show was a horrible travesty, despite his credentials as a fan of Kolchak and the creator of the X-Files.

Don Knotts was genius of goofy comedy. Mr. Chicken and the Ghost was one of the first movies I remember seeing in a theater.

Dennis Weaver's McCloud gave the whole TV detective genre a breath of fresh air. As Chester in Gun Smoke, not so memorable, but still fun.
